If you’re running low on your moisturizer, re-up your winter, daytime moisturizer. In May, you can use it as your night cream and purchase a lightweight summer one for day.

We have a very special offering for you this summer at the Apothecary, fresh from Jessica’s farm. Hydrate your summer skin with a fresh lavender & goat milk bath. The experience starts in the treatment room where your esthetician will cleanse your face and apply two masques from ; a vitamin C mask to combat UV damage layered with a strawberry hyaluronic mask to restore skin moisture balance. You will then receive a stress reducing neck and shoulder massage. Your mini facial concludes with an application of a lavender serum and face oil with vitamin C. While you soak in an aromatic bath in our copper tub, a gua sha tool will be provided with a brief tutorial on how to perform self-massage. After your bath, a warm oil from is provided for a self-application to your whole body. The organically grown lavender and goat milk are from my farm, while supplies last. July and August only. It’s not too late to plant calendula seeds! Calendula is my hands down top 🙌🏽 skin care herb, and my favorite application is a soothing calendula infused oil.

In my online course, I mention that numerous carrier oils can be used to make a calendula infused oil. I prefer using jojoba oil or sweet almond oil as they are great for all skin types and mix well with other oils should you decide you want more linoleic acid in your blend. Infuse the oil with soothing calendula petals, and you have an all-in-one herbal oil that you can use as massage oil to soothe minor bumps, bruises, bites, and stings.

INGREDIENTS
● 16 oz. dried, organic calendula flowers
● 16 oz. organic jojoba oil
● 116 oz. jar

DIRECTIONS
● Fill your jar 3⁄4 full with dried calendula flowers.
● Pour oil into the jar until the flowers are completely submerged by at least one inch.
● Shake the jar.
● Label your jar with the date and the contents.
● Place the jar on a warm, sunny windowsill or outdoors to infuse for 4-6 weeks.
● Shake at least once daily to keep the plant material submerged, which will help prevent mold and contamination.
● After 4-6 weeks, strain out the oil and discard or compost the calendula.
● Enjoy your decadent calendula oil!

Yield: Approximately 12 ounces of calendula-infused oil.
