BIG NEWS!

Dear J.Sheff Studio Loyal Clients,

I'm sharing some exciting news. I have accepted a full time position with Matrix! This is a huge opportunity for me and my family and one I have worked very hard for. I will get to educate in salons, in our community, full time. My role will include empowering stylists to elevate their craft and help salons grow their business with Matrix. I have always said it is important to me to have a great impact on this earth during my dash, my time between birth and death. I know we have grown and brought so much to each others lives, now is my opportunity to have an even greater impact here in our community! I am so excited for this new adventure but before I go I need to say THANK YOU!! Thank you all for your loyalty and conversations and friendships over the years. It means so very much to me!

So what does this mean to you...yes the studio is closing. My start date is March 15 and J.Sheff Studio will officially close March 21. (and unfortunately there are no appointments left)

Below I have included some recommendations of other stylists in the area. Please mention my name when booking. If you live outside of the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area I will get you other recommendations on an individual basis. I also am more then willing to forward on color formulas, hair cut guidelines whatever you would like, to help make the transition easier and more comfortable for you.

It's a date! June 16 just became my favorite day of the year.

Dear J.Sheff Studio community,

Governor Whitmer has lifted the order and allowed salons to open starting June 15. Whitmer has issued an updated rule laying out new safeguards for stylists and salons, which I will be learning and applying at my studio in the next ten days. Following these safeguards will ensure that you and I remain protected as the state moves to reopen.

Those of you who've already booked: those appointments are confirmed, however, I may need to adjust your appointment time by 15 minutes to allow for proper sanitation of the studio.

If you do not currently have an appointment but would like to schedule one now, please click the link below. I realize the urgency of needing an appointment and I will accommodate everyone as soon as I am able.

Just a few of my own safety protocols:

*Behind the ear masks will be required for both stylist and client.
*Text me when you arrive. I'll reply when you can come into the building.
*Bring only essentials in (keys, payment).
*No extra people, come alone.
*Relax during your shampoo, no talking.
*If you are sick, or thinking you might be getting sick, please have the courtesy to reschedule your appointment. I have elderly clients and clients with preexisting conditions and a family of my own. I want everyone to feel as safe as possible.

I am so excited to see you all, I have missed you dearly!

New HOPEFUL reopen date June 13

Dear J.Sheff Studio community,

The date for the stay at home order has again been extended. At this point, I'm hopeful for June 13-but that's not guaranteed.

The governor has a six phase plan for reopening the State and although rumors are swirling, there is no solid information currently as to which phase will allow me to open my door. The situation will continue to be monitored by the State, and in turn, by me. If anything at all changes, or I know of any new developments, I will reach out ASAP as I have done thus far.

No one wants to open more than I do-trust me! I can't wait to do so, with new precautions in place.

Thank you all so much for being so understanding throughout this crazy time. Please enjoy your Memorial Day! I'm spending mine with my family on my wedding anniversary. Love to all of you,

In case you missed it, on May 1 another executive order was put in place. This new order now makes my reopen date to May 29. I will continue to monitor and update as time goes on, not only with dates but with new protocols as well.

Please feel free to reschedule appointments after this date. REALLY looking forward to seeing you all again.

Update: New reopen date is May 15. Please feel free to book your appointment online, however also understand that date may change again. I will let you know information as soon as it's received. Clients who had appointments prior to May 15 will still receive reminder texts and emails-use those links to reschedule your appointment.

Your health and safety are always my top priority so please have patience and understanding that new sanitation practices will need to be put in place once I am able to reopen. This will include new state of Michigan protocol. Again, I will update this information once I am closer to opening.

Retail is still available! It was nice to see some of you while delivering products these past weeks-albeit through a window or door! Just call, text, or email me your order for doorstep drop-off.

Phone/Video Consultations are also still available! I'm at my best when honing my craft and it's so fulfilling to still be able to serve in some way!
