Feeling Fall ish today. 🍁🎃

The curls were curling, the color was coloring and she even brought me a coconut cream pie. Her mom's recipe, no less. What a great morning. 😋🥧♥️

Between two and three inches off the length, gradually lightening the base color and some nice highlights for dimension. That's a Fall freshen up, for sure. Happy weekend. 🍁🎃

These Blondes started my week off on the right foot. It's so easy to make these two curly/wavy Ladies look fabulous.

The sidewalk flowers are attracting tons of beautiful butterflies and even a hummingbird. 🦋

It's that time again. Our hard water around here seems harder right now. Fine haired individuals are especially susceptible. If your hair is tangled for no reason, feels rough or "tacky", is dry looking and lackluster, or just plain dull, hard water buildup is probably the problem. I let a clarifying shampoo sit on her mid lengths and ends for about 10 minutes this afternoon then conditioned as usual. Her hair was back to shiny, silky and slipped through my fingers easily. In areas with hard water like ours, keeping a clarifying shampoo on hand to use when build up becomes a problem, will save you a lot of frustration with your hair.

Tending to my plants is not all that different from tending to your hair. Each one has different needs from soil to water and sunlight just like each one of you has very specific hair needs. That is why it never gets boring.
