Let me formally introduce myself!

My name is Jordon and I rent a chair at Salon Eleven in Anoka. I am also a traveling wedding stylist. I have been doing hair for almost 8 years! I was a color specialist for 3 years and I have been renting on my own for about three years now. I love hair. I can talk your ear off about products, color  theory, hair care, pretty much anything hair. I love educating my clients, I also love learning new things, and I am always striving to perfect my technique. I am very dedicated to giving you your best hair possible! I also love all the amazing people I get to meet, and the human connection that hair allows me to make with others.

I mainly specialize in coloring, and in the last three years I have started doing more haircuts.  I am a traveling, hairstylist for weddings, and I absolutely love them. I am certified in tape in extensions, and I am currently working on my certification for hand tied extensions, and will be offering them as soon as well. I use Redken, pulp riot, and Moroccan oil, hair color. My favorite brands first styling products are Amica air and Redken.

On a more personal level, when I am not in the salon, I am with my big, huge family. I have seven children, and an angel baby Adonis. I love my children dearly, they have brought so much joy to my life! I have four boys and three girls. Leonidas, Landry, Asher, Lucille, Gwendolyn, Winnifred, and Gideon. I am also married to the man of my dreams. We have gone through so much together and , God has blessed us with the struggles in order to grow individually and together. We have been married for over a year now, and together for five years.

Some of my favorites include coffee, reading and books, cute boots, accessorizing, going out to eat, the color, pink, fresh roses, cats, crystals, writing, and snuggles from my babies and my man. I am also an huge nerd and love Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and lord of the rings. I love Fantasy/vampire books. And serial killer documentaries. I have also accepted and embraced that I’m socially awkward a good majority of the time.

A good chop chop, root touch up, full foil, some hand painted lowlights and a cooler toner. I’m living for these cool weather changes.

Another HUGE transformation!!! I love it when my clients are down to try something completely new and different! We usually do a bleach and tone and some fun colors. Today we completely switched it up with a copper balayage with a super cloned money piece and added in some curtain bangs with a huge chop! Swipe for the before 😲

It’s always so fun doing this girls hair. This was a HUGE transformation. We’ve been doing blue and green with a dark shadow root for her last few appointments. The OPPOSITE of what she wanted this time. When you put orange and red over blue it just neutralizes it out. Basically it becomes muck. Also, color can’t lift through previous color, so we had to lighten through the shadow root band. This was a FOUR step process, not including the haircut! I am so freaking proud of myself for achieving this. Any stylist will know how difficult a transition like this can be! It feels so good to be back behind the chair and to get the creative juices flowing again. It’s been so long since I’ve posted on here! Wedding season is in full swing and I am absolutely loving it! I still have open dates for November and December and am booking for 2023!

My first official day back on the hair scene was this absolutely stunning brides wedding. She has been seeing me for her color for over a year now and we have been prepping for this day for months. I can’t believe it’s already over with! So thankful for my loyal clients. Her beautiful mother also sees me regularly and made a beautiful blanket for my sweet baby girl. So thankful for the relationships this job allows me to build.
