For the longest time, I used the words hydrating and moisturizing like they meant exactly the same thing.

Turns out...they don't. 🤷‍♀️

Hydration is about water. Moisturizing is about helping your skin hold onto that hydration.

It's such a simple distinction, but once I understood it, several pieces of my skincare routine suddenly made a whole lot more sense—including why I was using a facial mist and a moisturizer instead of choosing one or the other.

Can I confess something?

There was a time when my entire skincare routine consisted of washing my face with Dial soap in the shower. 😄

A little skincare tip from your Natural Skincare Lady... 💚

If you're using eye cream, chances are you're using more than you need. I see this all the time!

For both eyes together, all you need is about the size of a grain of rice. Yep...really! Gently tap it around the eye area with your ring finger and let it do the work.

One thing I've learned over the years is that skincare isn't about using more products or more product. It's about using the right products, the right way, consistently. Those little habits really do add up over time.
