1️⃣ Sunless tan by so I don’t have to worry about getting a tan from the sun and causing sun damage to my skin. ⁣

2️⃣ Sunblock Lotion + Spray for touch-ups. My favorite is it is not thick or sticky so my husband doesn’t complain as much when I make him re-apply every 2 hours 😉⁣

3️⃣ A BIG ASS FLOPPY HAT! 👒 No sun on this face, and if I can help it my shoulders and chest too! Sun exposure = aging and wrinkles. Sun also triggers my Melasma, which has been very controlled the past year! ⁣

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Botox or Dysport before and after! ⁣

The Glabellar Complex, otherwise known as “frown lines” 😠 or “11’s” is one the most requested area to treat, especially now that everyone is working virtually on zoom calls and squinting at their computer all day. ⁣

Relaxing this area prevents the muscle movement required to form deep frown lines. This treatment can also help give your brows a slight lift for a refreshed and rested appearance. ⁣

I always recommend starting anti wrinkle injections before these lines become static or deep.

She has always had a nasojugal groove (the line of demarcation from the inner corner of the eye to the outer cheek) even as a child, but she has noticed it has gotten worse in the past year. ⁣

We’ve talked about cheek filler for a while, and she finally decided it was time to treat herself! ⁣

I am always cautious when treating around the eyes, and especially when malar edema is present (puffy bags under the eyes) because filler can EASILY make this appear worse. ⁣

Because of this, I decided to break up her treatment in two sessions (1 ml per session) and each time she experienced minimal swelling and no bruising. ⁣

We will likely do a touch up in 4-6 months with an additional 1ml, and I expect her results to last onwards of a year after that! ⁣

Building lips slowly over time is one way I make sure your lips will always look natural and not overfilled or ducky.

Sometimes it is best to pretreat smaller upper lips with a botox lip flip to allow for more real estate for filler placement, as shown in the photos above.

Sometimes it is best to start with a half syringe of filler and reassess in two weeks for a second syringe. Even though you see a difference immediately after filler injections, it is not always indicative of your healed results.

And sometimes, you may need added support to other areas before or during your lip augmentation. Balancing facial features is essential to a beautiful outcome.
