Last night, after a long day at the store, we got home and plugged in our phone – it had died somewhere in the middle of the day, and we forgot to bring our cord to work.

The phone loaded, and we saw tons of notifications about a post that was shared to a local food Facebook group (it went pretty viral). Of course, we immediately stopped everything we were doing to open the post and read it right away.

We’re nosy as hell and we refuse to be left out of what people are talking about – especially when it’s about us.

We were met with this photo of Alexis, a regular, who wrote this:

“I got surgery done on my wrist today. After hours of not eating, all I wanted was a proper Philly cheesesteak. The Benadryl the nurses gave me tapped me out halfway into my sandwich but uhh... white-knuckling proof that Gino's Cheese Steak & Onion never ceases to disappoint.”

This is the sweetest and funniest thing, but we’re not going to lie – we didn’t read the caption first or who wrote it, we only saw the photo.

Seeing as it was 420 yesterday, we originally thought this customer enjoyed a little too much of Lucifer’s Lettuce – you know, the Dank Sinatra, the Grim Re**er, California Clippings.

Whether you had surgery, steak and baked, or just were hungry and wanted a great sandwich – we thank everyone for a phenomenal day yesterday!
