Temporary summer hours:
due to some staffing reconfiguration we will be putting a hold on Sunday walk-ins til further notice. Blair will continue to be available 9-7 Tuesday-Saturday. Red and Ryno will take walk-ins between cuts as needed to help maintain the flow the best we can.

Red has opened up bookings from June on (as they have been closed prior) so book your summer cuts for special events before it's too late!
Red has also switched from 30 minute appointments to 20 minutes, creating more opportunities to book specific times in Red's chair to help manage the flow.

Red's would like to introduce Angelo Gilk. Angelo is 57 and is in much need of a 10hr back surgery to repair his L5 and S1 vertebrae to avoid being bound permanently to a wheelchair. since Angelo doesn't have medical insurance he has been turned away by countless medical institutes with no consideration of eligibility to move forward with the procedure. Angelo was recently fortunate enough to find a Dr at mayo that is willing to work with him on a cash payment to perform the surgery for him.

Angelo has been doing everything he is capable of in his current condition to earn the money needed for the surgery. including hand crafting wooden roses from scrap oak he collects, then shaves down on a lathe, rolls into roses, and paints before sculpting them into beautiful bouquets to sell. Angelo has been diligently crafting these bouquets and selling them for just $10 each set getting him 5k closer to his goal. (yes really, just $10 a bouquet for these beautiful lifelong lasting works of art) 👀

Here at the Chop Shop, the community has been our number one focus since day one, and we always try to help where we can. We have always been blown away by the community that supports us and continually shows up when called upon. We are gathering once again, this time to help Angelo reach a goal of $8000 remaining to schedule this surgery! after surgery he will be hospitalized for up to 2 weeks with an extensive recovery and rehabilitation process lasting a few months post surgery...

here's how you can get involved if you wish to support the cause. Angelo will continue to construct and sell these beautiful bouquets for just $10. you can pre order any color by submitting payment to his venmo with your color preference and name and phone number in the memo and he will reach out to confirm. we will have Angelo make weekly drops here at the shop for you to pick up your orders, as well as have extra sets on hand if you wish to just come in and purchase your favorite set in person.
if you wish to just donate, you can send Angelo a direct donation on his venmo (leave "Red's" in the memo line to show how strong our network and community is❤️) we will also have a donation bucket here at the shop if you wish to drop off a check or cash in person.

Cuts for a Clause Family Fundraiser. Wednesday, December 17th; Red, Ryno Blair, and Nik will be taking walk-ins from 10-6 just in time for those Holiday festivities and photos. Every dollar made from cuts, tips, product sales and donations will be donated to a local family after an unexpected, unimaginable, devastating loss of their son Cooper earlier this week.

we will have morning doughnuts and coffee along with afternoon sandwiches and sodas so come in, grab a drink and snack, get on the first come first served walk in list for a cut or just come hang out and drop a donation in the Christmas stocking.
