Hi my name is Erica and I am the very proud owner of Erica’s Bare Necessities! This small business of mine is going into its 3rd year open come September 2025, since Iv gone out on my own my life has completely changed for the better. 💫I have been waxing for 7 years now
💫I am a cosmetologist and started my career doing hair but quickly realized my love for waxing and decided to quit doing hair all together

Your hair should ideally be about a quarter-inch long, which is approximately the size of a grain of rice. This length is perfect because it allows the wax to grip the hair effectively, ensuring that it gets pulled out from the root rather than just breaking off at the surface.

I usually recommend people to give their hair 3 weeks to grow before your appointment if you are ever unsure about the length! If your hair is too short, the wax might not be able to catch it properly, leading to less effective results!

Starting October 1st these will now be my new working hours! I do realize I have some Saturday clients the prefer that day of the week so I decided to keep on a Saturday every 4 weeks to keep those of you who come in on a Saturday routine! If you are one of those clients please make sure to go and get yourself booked on that Saturday cycle so you don’t have to worry about missing out!

Otherwise now I will actually be working MORE hours and more nights for those of you who prefer a week day!
