I’m a hairstylist. I use professional products. I know how to take care of my hair. I barely even color it because I’m naturally blonde thanks to my Irish + Nordic genes… and yet here I am with breakage and thinning around my crown and bang area.

And honestly? So many women are quietly going through the exact same thing.

Sometimes hair loss, thinning, texture changes, and breakage are not from “doing something wrong.” Sometimes it’s hormones. Stress. Aging. Genetics. Life. Things completely out of our control.

As women, we put so much pressure on ourselves to “fix” everything, but sometimes the first step is acceptance. Learning to work with what we’ve got instead of fighting ourselves every day.

So this is your reminder that your hair does not define your worth. We can adjust, adapt, find styles and solutions that help us feel beautiful again… but it starts on the inside first. Giving ourselves grace. Being realistic. Being open-minded. And learning to love ourselves through every phase. 🤍
