Let’s talk lash retention😍

During your appointment, I will do everything I can do to ensure your lashes attach to your natural lash and have the best environment to hang on to. This includes prepping your lashes with a primer that helps to remove and oil, dirt or debris and finishing with a bonder that helps with retention and minimizes irritation.

Once you leave, there are things that will make a huge difference in your retention. It starts with making sure your lashes stay clean. Especially in the summer months, our lashes are put up against the elements. Cleaning them DAILY to remove any oils, SPF, chlorine, sweat, etc is a must!

Keeping your hands away from your lashes is going to also help with retention. Picking, pulling, touching will all damage your extensions. Your hands also have oil, dirt and debris on them that can then transfer to your lashes. Wash your hands before you go in with your cleanser and always use a clean mascara wand to brush your lashies.

☀️SUMMER LASH TIPS☀️

Summer humidity can take a toll on our lashes. Here are some tips for keeping your lashes fresh:
• Wash your lashes daily! Bonus points for washing post pool/lake sessions. Chlorine and salt water left on your lashes can cause the extensions to become brittle.
• Brush your lashes! Always recommended to brush your lashes after washing but always wait until they are dry.
• Use a lash growth serum. This will ensure your natural lashes stay healthy, hydrated and strong while in the elements.
