Firstly, I am very nervous to share this because I know that some people may be sensitive to these types of interactions. But, I want to share this because it was such a beautiful experience.

I had the pleasure of being able to do a mediumship reading for a client this weekend. Being a massage therapist as well as an intuitive healer it was a natural progression to recognize this part of my journey in service to others. I am being mentored by a well known medium and it has really helped me to untap my innate potential.

What is Gentle scar therapy?

Gentle scar therapy uses very light strokes and movement of the fascia to help the body integrate the scar. Meaning it can reduce the appearance of the scar, it may help with nerve pain, it can improve ROM, and it may help the individual to reconcile their body and emotions surrounding the scar.

What scars can Gentle Scar therapy address?

Surgical, physical trauma, burns, scars from cancer therapy, amputation. The scars can be any age, as long as they are fully healed.

Is it a massage?

No, Gentle Scar therapy is not an massage in a sense of continuous strokes all over the body. The only area that is worked is the area where the scar is located and there is no oil or heat applied.
