Just finished up another spalted maple vase for my neighbor.

Here's a piece of Russian olive wood that I got from a nice family in Ashwaubenon that blew over on their house in the storm. such a beautiful wood and beautiful grain!
This week perhaps a simpler turning, Here is a spalted maple bowl. I can't get enough of the beautiful spalted woods.

Made another large platter out of this beautiful black walnut that I have, amazing grain in this one. What do ya think?

What's everyone think of this guy?? Should I epoxy the bowl to look like a pond? Or leave it as is?? It is a maple burl piece.
Heres a beautiful piece of apple wood. Ended up about 6" across and about 4" deep.
