HAPPY ANNOUNCEMENT!

My Friends,

I am writing to inform all of you of some happy news! My wife is pregnant! We are expecting our first child to arrive to us sometime late this July.

I wanted to write just to keep all of you in the loop. This will obviously bring some disruption to my schedule once our baby comes. Also there may be a random appointment that pops up in-between now and then, I ask for your understanding if I need to shift around appointments. I do also want to let you know that I will be working extra hours leading up to the expected birthday so I can do my very best to accommodate all of you and then smoothly take some time off to support my wife and spend some time with the new human.

As my wife and I plan a little more and as we get closer I will keep all of you updated with availability and a better idea of what to expect when the baby arrives.

The Holidays are here! Before we make our way into a brand new year. I thought it would be a good time to again offer haircut subscriptions to you.
With a subscription you can pay for a block of haircuts and or other services of your choice (at their current pricing) up front. By doing so you are only charged for the service cost and we forego any tipping that you would normally participate in. These subscriptions can be purchased in blocks of 6, 8, or 12. Payments accepted in cash. Other forms of payment such as card are accepted however will include a processing fee.
If you are interested please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have or if you would simply like a quote for the specific services you receive, I am here to help.

Lastly before I end this email...
I want to thank all of you for another wonderful year of getting to know each one of you! I also want to thank you all for giving me the trust and patronage to keep you all looking your very best. Rübrum Barbershop would not be possible without all of you! So thank you for your friendship and well.. your money too.. ! Look out for some positive changes within the Rübrum world this year! I cannot wait to share another year with all of you!

WE'RE GOING TO PORTUGAL

My friends, I am incredibly sorry to be such a pain in the ass with all of these emails! I will try to make sure this is the last one for a while! My wife and I are going through big changes. She recently finished her masters program and accepted a new position that starts October 1st. We decided to sneak in one last getaway before she begins. We booked a trip to Lisbon, Portugal for 09/08-09/19. I know many of you have appointments scheduled within that time frame and for that I apologize. I will be opening extra hours before and after that trip to accommodate all of you. This will include Saturdays and Sundays. Please check the available hours and see if you can find a spot that would work best for you.

Thank you for all your patience during these changes and annoying emails. I appreciate all of you and I will follow up with all of you over the coming days to make sure we find a good alternative appointment.

SCHEDULE UPDATE

Hi everyone,

I wanted to give you a quick update about my hours at Rübrum Barbershop. I know I just recently sent out a change, so I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Thank you for your patience as I fine-tune a schedule that keeps balance while still offering you plenty of appointment options.
Here are my updated shop hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:15 PM
Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 5:15 PM
Thursday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM (later day)
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:15 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (first Saturday of each month only)
Sunday: Closed

The main update is that I’ll now be open one Saturday a month, which should help those who can’t make it in during the week.
👉 If you already have an appointment that no longer fits my new hours, I kindly ask that you reschedule at your earliest convenience so we can find a time that works best for you. Spots tend to go quickly—especially with Saturdays added—so I encourage you to book soon to lock in your preferred time.
Thanks again for sticking with me as I settle into these new hours—I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. Looking forward to seeing you in the chair soon!

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to share that starting September 1, 2025, I’ll be adjusting my hours to better serve you while keeping a healthy balance in my schedule.

New Hours:

Monday: 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 1:45 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 9:30 AM – 4:45 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

What this means for you:

Two later days (Monday & Thursday) for after-work appointments.
A shorter midweek day to help me stay fresh and at my best for every client.
You can continue booking online as usual — I recommend grabbing your favorite times in advance as these spots will fill quickly.

Commencing 06/10/2024, I will be adopting the following schedule:
-BY APPOINTMENT ONLY-

Thursday: 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

I ask that if you do have an appointment scheduled after 06/10/2024 that conflicts with this change, please try to find a suitable alternative through my booking site. I will also do my best to get in touch with those of you affected by this change in a timely manner, to make sure your follicules don't go uncared for.
