Due to the severe storms yesterday The Corner Barbershop & Company is currently without power. Unfortunately, we will be closed today.
We are hopeful power will be restored by tomorrow. If it is not we will contact all clients with appointments as soon as possible regarding any schedule changes.
Most importantly our hearts are with all of the families, businesses, and first responders affected by yesterday’s tornadoes and severe storms. We know many in our community are dealing with far more than an inconvenience today and we’re keeping everyone impacted in our thoughts.

One of the greatest parts of what we do is getting a front row seat to the love fathers and grandfathers have for their families. Every day in the shop, we hear stories about their children and grandchildren, their proudest moments, and the people who mean the most to them.
Our favorite moments are when they pull out their phones and say, “You have to see my kids” or “Look at my grandbabies.” Their faces light up, and for a few minutes, all they want to do is brag about the people they love most.
We’re also blessed to have families who come in together..grandpas, dads, and grandsons sitting in our chairs. Watching those legacies of love, values, and traditions being passed down from one generation to the next is something truly special.
To all the dads, grandpas, and father figures who love fiercely, lead by example, and take so much pride in your families. Today, we celebrate you.

The last month has been a little chaotic between school events, softball schedules, and all the things that come with being a mom in May. I’ve had to make appointment changes along the way, and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility.
Being able to show up for my kids while continuing to do the job I love is only possible because of clients like you. Your kindness and support mean more than you know, and I never take it for granted.

We wanted to take a minute to introduce (and show some love to) the husbands behind the barbers. The ones who don’t stand behind the chair but are always behind us.
The last couple of months, especially with our move, they’ve been right there through it all. Long days, late nights, weekends away from home… and never once complaining. From helping build, fix, move, and create this space from the ground up…to supporting us through every step of this journey over the years.
They are the steady support when things get stressful, the extra hands when we need them most, and the reason we’re able to keep showing up and doing what we love every single day.

This shop isn’t just built by us…it’s built by them too.

We are so grateful for the men behind the scenes who help make The Corner Barbershop & Company what it is today. 🖤💛
