Fads come and go, but the classics remain and for good reason. The traditional regular haircut “two-line” is the foundation of what all gentlemen cuts are based off of. Never forget the basics.

When this client first came into the shop, his hair was all over the map. It was short and choppy in some spots and long and uneven in others. His hair texture is very thin and he has multiple cowlicks causing all sorts of challenges. After finding out what his normal hair routine consisted of (none) and what he wanted to achieve, we didn’t focus on what we wished his hair would do, instead, we focused on what it can do. I recommend he grow out his hair which would add weight to help control the cowlicks and we cut the nape area down to the skin, but keep it low all around since he wanted the hair off his ears. I introduced him to some product Reuzel; Grooming Essentials to help tame the mane which he was using way too much of and causing him to struggle. I encouraged him to trust the progress and to continue do his part at home. We finally achieved what he wanted and now has all the tools need to do this on his own at home. That’s the goal.

We appreciate each and every soul who walks through our doors and sits in our chairs. Sometimes it’s “give me the usual” and sometimes it’s “let try something new”

The following Sunday, 7-26, all toys collected will be donated to children receiving treatment at the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital. You can attend this beautiful event and witness the joy that these children and their families experience with the overwhelming support from all of us.
Being a cancer survivor I can honestly say hearing that news was the scariest thing I’ve ever felt. I couldn’t see the enemy to fight it head on and throughout my life I have been around a lot of tough guys and gals, but none have ever come close to the strength of these kids.
The sad reality is some of these kids will not make it to December. Some of them know this, but you would never be able to tell by their smiles.

When a walk-in wants to go shorter, but isn’t exactly sure of what he wants and gives you free rein, you do more than just give a hair cut. You study the head shape, facial structure, texture of the hair, how it grows, where it grows, establish reference points and then you use the tools for the job. The end result? A very happy client. Thank you for trusting me while you’re in town to attend a wedding.

This is Loretta “Kay” Cowell-Pilitsis and she is one of my wife’s best friends since the 7th grade. Last Monday, 05-25-2026, it was reported she changed her clothes, went for a walk with no cell phone, no wallet, and a .22 caliber pistol (I believe belonged to her deceased father) was missing from her residence located in Pinion Hills, CA. I have my own thoughts, feelings, and suspicions regarding these suspicious circumstances, but that is for and what the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office will sort out. I have absolute faith in their investigation skills, teamwork, and I know in my heart they will leave no stone unturned.

Kay is one of the most nicest people I have ever met and she is an absolute gem of a human being. I ask everyone to please keep Kay in your heart; and if you believe in the power of prayer, please add her to them and keep her there. If you don’t pray please do whatever it is you believe in and keep her in your hearts and mind.

Kay, I want so bad for you to come over to our home as you’ve done so many times and watch you drink the hottest tea I’ve ever seen anyone drink. I am hopeful, but I also know the difference between fantasy and reality.

My best friend (Grant-RIP) younger sister and her husband made this amazing work of art for the shop. They are woodturners and their work is absolutely beautiful. Please give them a follow and consider purchasing one of their pieces for yourself or as a gift.

After my morning walks me likes to stop next door the city of Arcadia’s finest cigar lounge to receive my pets and enjoy chomping on one of me favorites toys. So get a haircut and stop next door for a smoke, or have a smoke then stop in for a haircut or shave. Just make sure you gives me pets.
