It was a Wednesday Fall Color day. Always an honor to spend time with these two beauties!

I have moved to a new space! Hair Play in Archdale! I’m excited about the move to a very large private suite; come see me! The pictures are the finished room!

Been a minute since I posted, but this cutie….

$308.92 was the cost of this small amount of needed supplies for my job.

I am frequently asked, “why is my service so high?” Here lies the answer…plus 41 years of experience and dedication.

Our supplier industry does not take care of us. Like all things “American,” it sucks the money out of our hands with high profit margins and we, as hairdressers cannot increase our prices to meet the demands of rising costs of supplies.

2021 tax year my color supplies alone were a little below $4k for the year. I was working long full time hours.
2022 tax year my color supplies were $11k! And I cut my days down to part time. If I increased my prices 3 1/2 times higher in a year I would no longer have a career.

Because of this problem, my 41 years of education, experience, and dedication have left me at the lowest income of my career.

This is not a political rant or problem so to speak but it is an example of how the middle class American people are working their asses off while big corporations are raking in massive profits.
