Anyone else struggle with balance? I think we all do if we are being honest.

Being a working Mom is a challenge in itself and I basically always feel like I’m failing at SOMETHING.

My new goal is to just focus on boundaries. My family knows that unless there is a life-threatening emergency, don’t bother me at work. I have set boundaries in place so I’m not working 24/7 either. It’s easy to brainstorm and finds inspiration easily with social media but I also realize that’s not always productive!

Allowing myself to have down time and be “bored” has helped life in so many ways.

Wednesday’s I don’t work in the salon so I usually put my phone away and soak up every moment I can with my family.

Trying to get better about posting more photos of ME!

I’m wearing my natural wavy hair, with just mascara and lipstick, in the color ‘cana’. I love all the moisture these lipsticks provide and they stay on even with how much talking I do at work!

I try to coordinate my lip color to my outfit :)

MONDAYS AMIRITE?!

Mondays get a bad rap, I think. The weekend is great and all, but there is something so refreshing about a new start, a new planner page, and a clean slate on the calendar.

Guess what!? Fall is HERE, and I am LOVING it!! This Florida girl loves when the weather gets chilly and I can wear my hair down without fear of the humidity-poof!

Hair needs more moisture as the air gets drier, and there are many ways to achieve this-

1) Drink more water! Hydrate from the inside-out, baby!
2) Use a humidifier when possible, as this helps add moisture to the air. Less static, less shocking people.
3) Come in for a SHINE treatment!

It only takes an hour to leave with shinier, healthier hair for fall.
