It was a hot summer day, and she was dealing with an active eczema flare-up while visiting us at a pop-up.

Yesterday’s workshop was such a good reminder that sometimes the person creating the space needs the pause, too.

I came in ready to teach and guide everyone through the experience, but somewhere between the creating, conversations, and lots of laughter, it ended up feeling therapeutic for me too.

That is what I love about these workshops. Yes, we make beautiful products, but it is also about slowing down, stepping away from everything for a little while, and giving yourself room to reset.

And apparently, I needed that moment just as much as everyone else.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon feel so light, joyful, and restorative. I had such a good time with you all and hope to see you again at another workshop.

And to anyone who has been needing a pause, a creative outlet, or a different kind of self-care experience, maybe the next workshop is for you.

Oh yeah, we had a great time at our workshop yesterday.

Missed opportunities will haunt you more than failures. So risk it for the life you want.

Failure fades. You learn, you adjust, you move on. But the thing you never tried? That one sticks around. It shows up at 2am. It shows up when someone else does the thing you talked yourself out of. It shows up as a quiet "what if" you never quite outrun.
