Slap these ideas outta your brain here’s why:

1. About 1/4 of blondes need purple shampoo. Product lines just market to blondes for profitability
2. Repeat after me “Quality time over quantity time.” Investing in your hair usually means more infrequent appointments and an intentional regimen.
3. All good intentions, but people blur what works for their specific hair with their hair type all the time. Just cause it sounds smart doesn’t mean it is. Hair changes with your life so find someone you trust who can support you alongside those changes.
4. Very rarely- especially if you have fine hair, are blonde, and/ or have lots of layering.
5. This one gets me. First, please support the person who’s educating you if you like their recommendations. That aside, products need to be regulated and with a close paper trail from the distributor. That really narrows down where you buy it.
6. Just cause it’s an ingredient in an amazing hair product doesn’t mean putting that non-molecular-grade format straight on your strands is a good idea. All of the sudden your hair will suck and you’ll have no idea why.
