Because everyone styles their hair differently, maintains it differently, and has different hair needs. The way someone moisturizes their wash and go might not work for someone who keeps their hair in twists or protective styles most of the time.

But one thing that stays consistent? Your shampoo process.

That’s the first real step to getting water and moisture into your hair properly. If your wash day foundation isn’t right, no amount of oils or styling products will fully make up for it.

So many of us don't really know the true potential of our Hair until we see it and its hydrated State. Hydration starts from the beginning of the process what we use to hold our curls in place after that is what our moisturizer is.

We decided to moisturize her hair and style it with the Flourish Butter and Gel. The cool thing is this butter in gel can be mixed together without any drama!

Especially when used on clean hair.

She loved her Washngo and it lasted day after day. If you struggle with your curls clumping, then a butter alone is good for a soft set.

If you want a little more hold, grab the gel and add to the butter.

If you want a HARD hold because your curls need more help clumping and staying together, go for the double gel..

There are things we look for to let us know if your twist out will win or fail.

🏆1st thing:
Is your hair strand stable enough to hold a forced pattern (twist indentions) for longer than a few hours. High porosity hair struggles to hold "out" styles for long, hair with Bond Damage (heat or chemical straightening) won't hold that curl, dehydrated hair will evaporate the product and return brittle.

🏆2nd thing: As long as you leave your twists In will be as long as they last in a twist out. So if you twist your hair and leave it twisted for one day and take it down the next, it will last on that twist out all defined for 1 day. Leave your twists in.. let them set.

🏆3rd thing: Break your hair into two or three tiers of flat twists to break up the density. When you flat twist those dense sections it can lose definition on the takedown. Break it up..
