So I wanted to put this as a note of why in school they stress our consultation.
I love the look of nails but always as the girly Tom boy I am, I could never function with them on. Today I decided I wanted to treat myself and go get a set. I wanted something fun and different as it's spring/summer season and anyone that knows me knows I love pineapples. Well to the right is what I asked for and the left is what I received.
Here is what I think went wrong.
1: I probably need longer nails to achieve this design. 2: she knew that and still didn't say anything.
3: she thought her skills were better then they are as she told me they looked similar.
4: She just didn't care enough as the nail salon was busy.
As a stylist, I promise to ask all the right questions to get you something that you will love to walk out with and put a bit of love into everything I do.
Not one as a consumer should leave feeling like they didn't get what was asked for . Now it's time to get in some more learning so I can offer these to y'all soon!

Don't practice until you get it right. Practice until you can't get it wrong.

I did take this from another stylist page but the message I thought should be heard! When I'm talking to you about the products I'm using in your hair it's for your benefit not mine !

Can you guess which side is the professional version? Conditioner is on top and shampoo on the bottom in both pictures. Same bottle, one bought from a licensed professional, the other from Amazon.

Places like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, whatever distributors go through Amazon will do this to you every time with their “professional product”. It’s not the same as buying from a licensed distributor.

She’s washed her hair twice from 12-31-2019 to 1/10/2020 in cool water.
