Massage via Violet
Violet Ngo has been a licensed Massage therapist since 2004, with primarily clinical focus. This page is meant to inform clients and potential clients Hello!
My name is Violet, and I've been massaging for over 16 years now! With any luck, I intend to keep at it for many years more. I am opening my business to do out-calls within a 10 mile radius of the 76018 zip code! I am certified for Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Acupressure. I have years of experience in Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage. If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to conta

Hello all, it's been a while. Considering the number of calls I've received lately, I believe it is time for an update.
First off! Due to the fact that less than half of Texas is still unvaccinated, I am unable to open my books to the general public without a referral.
Secondly, to those who do come to me by referral--yes, I will require proof of vaccination. If that is not agreeable to you, I will not take it personally if you seek your massages elsewhere. I may not get paid, but my immunocompromised clients will be safer and that is more valuable to me. I am thankfully in an economic position to be able to make such a choice.
For those already on my roster, I am able to visit two vaccinated households per day with enough advance booking.
I have suspended corporate office visits for the time being due to the Delta/Lambda variants.
I will revisit my business protocol as we move closer to herd immunity percentage based on the official data available at that time.
For now, please get your shots, keep your masks on, your hands clean and I will look forward to seeing you on the other side of this. π

Due to covid, I forgot about this page for a bit as adjusting has been a time, but I'm back to make a very obvious statement that I should have made from the beginning, because apparently assuming this was a given was somehow VERY naive of me:
All lives will matter *ONLY* when black lives finally matter.
Period. If this dissuades business, I am at peace with that. Off with you then. βοΈπβπ»βπΌβπ½βπΏ
Stay safe and healthy!

While the restrictions on the massage industry appear to be lifted for now, I will not be opening my books to the general public as COVID-19 is far from done wreaking havoc upon us.
I will consider opening again, perhaps when the governor's mansion is available for tours to the public once more. Until then, I encourage everyone to keep safe, keep washing your hands and keep your distance a bit longer!

Welp. We all make plans and the universe laughs, huh?
In any case, my profession is more or less shelved for the time being, so then what can I do? I can do gift certificate sales, and I can do consultations for those who would like to inquire about setting appointments when it is safe to do so.
I can possibly also construct masks from my fabric stash, though in the meantime, I'll link some videos here for those who would like some choices in their mask varieties if they wish to attempt it themselves:

It's been a while, but here's Mercy! At 14 years old with the energy of a pup, she's got enough experience to show us how to stretch and relax into the upcoming season. Who else is ready for autumn? ππ₯§βπ
