New month New growth. This client is transitioning from relaxed to natural, so even though it it was time to trim her ends we just removed the rest of the relaxer from the ends!

Had a client this weekend that absolutely did not want her ends clipped but constantly asked about her hair growth. I tried explaining to her that regular trims is really the only way to retain length. My question to her was if your goal is to grow your hair why wouldn’t you do what is necessary to get you to the goal? Next question, if you don’t trust the stylist to do what is needed to help you achieve the goal why do choose her? What I’ve found is a lot of clients have goals that they themselves are standing in the way of because they won’t listen to the stylist. There are 2 takeaways from this situation ( really more but I’ll highlight only 2)
1.There is no hair growth without the removal of split ends.
2. Search for a stylist that you have complete trust in and follower their lead!
