Beauty And The Beat Cosmetics

On this last day of April, I reflect on turning 40 this month and the entire year so far. In the Bible, the number 40, whether representing 40 years, 40 days, or 40 nights, is often associated with a period of trial, testing, or transformation. It can also signify a generation or a period of significant change in God’s plan.

The beginning of 2025 I was looking forward to turning 40 because I was ready for a “New Beginning.” Not realizing the power of my words, I finally surrendered and on 1/13/25 I gave God my full and complete ‘YES’. That same day I was called into the office at work and was given an ultimatum and on 1/15/25 I was terminated from a job that I had given my ALL to for almost 3 years!

I wasn’t sad, scared or anything, because I knew what I had prayed for and I told God, “Ok, you’re up!” I asked Him for flowers, and he gave me rain!! I have been able to utilize the gifts that He has given to me and He has blessed my life, household and my businesses more than ever! Many don’t know, but I’m a licensed esthetician, but I didn’t renew my license so it had been expired so long that I had to retake my written and my practical exams so that it could be reinstated. I had been putting it off for YEARS! Well… I FINALLY DID IT! I studied hard and passed both exams and so once again I AM A LICENSED ESTHETICIAN !! If I had not of surrendered and given God my YES, I would still be unhappy and wishing I could be where I am now! God has also allowed me to start a new business, ‘Blessed Blends’ which is a state registered fresh pressed juice business!

This is finally my time! I am so grateful to be in a place where I lean to Him and Him only rather than leaning to man. Instead of complaining and venting to people, I’ve learned the power of prayer and fasting and casting all my cares and worries to the Lord.

So if I seem like I’ve been quiet… this is why! I have been busy getting me together and becoming who God wants me to be by aligning my life with HIS will and HIS purpose!
