Dandelion Root Tea in the making! An aromatic tea with a nutty smokey taste, aids in liver detox.
The process:
I dug dandelion roots, twisted off the leaves, (had 8.4 pounds!). Washed with the outside hose, then trimmed ends and wash thoroughly in the kitchen sink. Towel dry. Next, chop into large chunks, run through food processor until it looks crumbly, then slow roast in the oven for several hours. It will be crisp when done! Put into jars.
It’s expensive to buy in the store because of the amount of work involved, and I haven’t found a brand yet from the USA. Mostly Poland, Bulgaria etc.
I’ll be selling it soon, stay tuned for details!

I have several different types of Face Cream here at Cozy Cottage Skin Care and all of them are my favorite!

2 oz jars $10.00
4 oz jars $ 20.00

Rosehip and Seed in Organic Ex Virgin Olive Oil
Organic Carrot, Rosemary and Dandelion Flower in Organic Ex Vir Olive Oil
Advacado Seed in Organic Advacado Oil
Calendula Flowers in Organic Ex Virgin Olive Oil
Advacado Seed and Wood Violet in Organic Sweet Almond Oil
Watch for Grapeleaf cream, coming this summer!

Olive Oil base is a heavier cream and the other oils make lighter cream.

My skin is extremely dry and and I have a lot of wrinkles. Nothing on the market was hydrating enough for me, so I began researching different combinations of oils, butters, herbs and such to help my skin.

I start by infusing my own base oils using flowers, herbs or carrot then adding to specific carrier oils such as Olive, Apricot, Grapeseed, etc. This is a slow infusion process.
I then add the other ingredients, mostly organic, and decide which essential oils to scent with, if any. I sterilize my jars prior to filling them.

All of my products are purchased from a reputable organic herbal farm, with the exception of the flowers and herbs. These I either grow, or harvest myself, so I always know where they come from.

I noticed such amazing results after using my cream! My face stays hydrated all day! I use a lighter cream for daytime and a heavier cream at bedtime. It has even worked to heal my cracked heels!

I've had great feedback from everyone who's tried my creams. Some use it for chapped hands as a well but the creams were created specifically to hydrate your face.

I will post soon the benefits of the floral or herbal bases of the creams.
The Rosehip or Calendula is best for aged or very dry skin.
Advacado is a lighter cream and works nice for normal or younger skin.
