Thank you all for your patience with me getting everything moved to the new system! It’s been a good change for sure. But with change comes a learning curve for everyone. I’m going to share some things about the new system to help us both now that I’ve been using it for 2 months:
1) all services are on their own. If you book a highlight, it’s literally only scheduling that—no cut and/or style. Please select all services you’re wanting done! I’ve caught some of these, but probably won’t get them all.
2) if you’re getting a color and cut/style service, please select the color first. It books backwards and won’t have the timing right for finishing up otherwise.
3) booking your own appt, the program is very literal with timing. If you can’t find a particular day/time, feel free to ask! I may be able to see a gap that BookSolo may not see.
4) I’m always happy to send the link/QR for the site. Unfortunately it’s not an app at this point (sounds like it will be in the future tho). I would recommend going into my contact in your phones and save the website there so you have it handy! BookSolo.com/steelmagnoliasalon
5) if you haven’t paid/closed your ticket by the end of the day, I’ll probably check in to make sure everything gets settled. If you have a credit card saved, I’ll let you know first, but I can go in and pay from my end too.
6) another unfortunately….if you have more than one service booked (highlight AND cut, etc), you are not able to move the appt around. You’ll either need to ask me to move it or completely cancel and rebook where you want to come.
