My Health Journey: From beginning to present
Growing up, I struggled with a lot of anxiety and was constantly teased and mocked for it. What most of you don't know is I was put in Special Education classes which hurt my self esteem for many years because I felt I wasn't treated like the mainstream students and I felt I was unfairly put into that environment
However, this was the start of me wanting to be the best version of myself that I could be in all aspects of my life. I wanted to prove to the Special Ed department that they made a mistake putting me in there
Many years later, I became a Personal Trainer a few years after graduating college and what I learned from it was how to take care of my body and practice exposure therapy through high pressure situations
Fast forward to this year. Back in July, I became inspired to take my health to the next level through improved hydration when I saw a post about hydrogen water from . I never heard of it before so I decided to start drinking the hydrogen water bottle (I couldn't afford the filter at first) and started noticing small differences in my health
In August, Jillian posted about a live masterclass on the hydrogen ionizer machine and after taking the class, I bought the K8 ionizer machine and joined Team Rise Up. In October 2022, my knee starting clicking and caused a lot of joint discomfort from doing Bulgarian Split Squats

Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness usually happens when you train a muscle that hasn't been trained, when you have completed a workout for the first time in a long time and when you train your body harder than it is used to
Over time, soreness gradually happens less frequently when you are consistent with your workouts to the point where your muscles don't feel sore anymore
