Hey there!! 👋🏻
Wow! So many new faces here & I haven’t posted in a minute so, I thought it was time to dust off the social media shoes and give a life update.
For my new friends: Welcome! Thank you for being here! I’m Emily Encinosa and I am a holistic midwife! I help expecting families make educated and empowered decision around their pregnancy, birth, postpartum and into new parenthood! I have a 3 year old son and have been supporting pregnant bodies in movement since 2010, in the birth space since 2017 and as a midwife in my primary practice since January 2022.
As some of you may know, I have taken a much smaller practice load in the beginning of 2023. In doing this, I have been able to make my way back to the happy and healthiest version of myself which translates to more quality and intimate care for the families that I serve.
I’ve also made some decisions that haven’t been the easiest but they will be beneficial in the long run. One of them was to lovingly transition myself out of the previous group practice where I began my journey to midwifery. For the families I have grown to know and love through this space, I am so eternally grateful for you opening up yourselves and allowing me to cultivate my skills and learn life lessons with you on your journey.
I am looking forward to continuing to provide quality, individualized maternity care for Las Vegas families on this next chapter & building our community! We are excited to announce that Las Vegas Parents Club & Mama Social Las Vegas are coming together to host two Splash Pad Meets on the west side in May and June! Bring your little ones to enjoy some fun in the sun and meet other local parents in the area.
