So today I had a man come in and request me and I had never had him before. He informed me that I cut his wife's hair a few weeks back and she lost all of her hair from cancer. This lady hadn't worn makeup or felt good about her looks in over two years. She bounced around trying to find a stylist that would understand her and make her feel beautiful. Apparently that is exactly what I did. The day I cut her hair I gained a forever client. She went home with a smile and put her makeup on. Little did I know that was the first and the last time I would ever cut her hair. She passed away yesterday and her husband informed me that I changed her life. She died with a smile not just because it was a "haircut" but I gave her some sense of beauty and made her light up to the world for her quickly passing last weeks.

Moral of the story is I love my job and I am so glad I get to impact so many people with transformations and make them feel good even in the worst of times 😊
