Not a whole lot of time for pictures, again!
These two were two of my favorites.

David is a friend of my son’s. He’s got a great head of hair. Asian hair is extremely difficult and completely satisfying to cut. He looked amazing and seemed pleased. Plus, he’s such a cutie and super sweet!

Scott had a complete transformation. He looked amazing and I’m pretty sure he was feeling just as amazing. He said, “you are my favorite barber and this is my favorite shop.” 💜 He liked the bangs in front but when I asked to make it preppy for just a second he agreed and SMILED so big. I love these transformations. My youth clientele are such an important part of my job.

I’ve been extremely busy at the shop. Have not taken many pictures of haircuts, at all. None, actually.
What goes on in the shop is quality relationships, conversations, kids being silly and sweet, dogs visiting and supervising. Lots of laughs. Lots of listening.
I don’t have time for pictures.
But, I managed a few.
Kids being tired. Kids being cute.
A big kid graduation, making waves at Vianney, a kid that doesn’t say much had mom send me a pic of his prom get-up 💜 I love it!
And the last one is education. (Thank you, Carol!) This gentlemen cannot come to the shop so I go see him. I saw a spot of concern on his head we watched a bit. I told his wife it should be looked at bc I had a suspicion. I was right. Squamous cell. The wound looks great, his wife is a great nurse 👩‍⚕️but we are the eyes that see the back and top of your head, neck and ears. (I was also a derm nurse. This is the second correct diagnosis in 3 years!) Guys! Please take note when something is mentioned. I gotchoo.

When you are here, you are in a safe place. The conversations can be deep, we can laugh so hard, we can share sad things and show empathy. I love it here. Here, there is no judgement. Be you!

One of my sweetest young men (has been a client a while now) sat in the chair and said, “I don’t know your leg was tattooed, I thought it was a fake leg. I was thinking ‘when did that happen.’” 😂😂😂😂

Max, pictured has extremely thick, coarse, straight hair. Whoooo his haircut hurts my whole body and take a minimum of an hour. He’s patient while I work and when I get the eye squint and a low “oooooooo” I know it is on point. 💪

I have a new supervisor at the shop. Her name is Maggie. She loves to collect all the hair clippings, give shake, wiggle her butt and get ear scratches. She made sure Dad’s hair and beard were in tip top shape as I was cutting. She did a wonderful job!
Maggie, also, accepts cookies for her pay.

Y’all….this man slept through a bald fade AND beard trim. 😂 I was very careful not to disturb his slumber.
Also- done almost 15min early bc there was no talking. 😂😂

Busy, busy week at the shop. Not a whole lot of time to stop for pictures! It was a great week. Parents reading to kids while I cut, parents playing with fidgets, kids entertaining themselves while parents get a cut, wives/moms coming in and chatting with me! 💜💈✂️
