For the last two months, this has been our reality… and as fair gets closer, our evenings have become just as busy as our mornings.
Every day has been filled with feeding, exercising, grooming, training, cleaning pens, milking goats, and caring for lambs, goats, rabbits, and pigs. It’s exhausting, messy, and sometimes overwhelming. There have been plenty of laughs, but there have also been tears, frustrations, and moments where we’ve all questioned if the hard work is worth it.
But this journey has never been just about winning ribbons.
It’s about building character. Teaching responsibility. Learning dedication, perseverance, discipline, and the value of showing up even when you don’t feel like it. It’s about learning that success doesn’t come without sacrifice and that some of life’s greatest lessons are learned in the barn.
I couldn’t be prouder of these kids and the commitment they’ve shown these past couple of months. They have poured their hearts into these animals, and regardless of what happens next week at the Eddy County Fair, they’ve already accomplished something far more important.
And because life on the farm can’t be serious all the time… stick around until the end of the video. 😂 Ezekiel decided our Boer goat looked like the perfect ride! Sometimes, in the middle of all the hard work and stress, you just have to stop, laugh, and enjoy the moment.
Please keep these kids in your prayers as they head into fair week. We can’t wait to see all of their hard work come together.

You can now find our handcrafted products at The Turquoise Shop in beautiful CLOUDCROFT, NM, located in the B***o Street Exchange Shopping Plaza!
Cloudcroft has always held a special place in our hearts. It’s one of our favorite places to escape the New Mexico heat, breathe in the fresh mountain air at nearly 9,000 feet, and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. Now, every time we visit, we’ll get to see a little piece of our farm there too. What a blessing!
So if you’re heading to Cloudcroft this summer for hiking, shopping, cooler weather, or a weekend getaway, be sure to stop by The Turquoise Store and check out our display. You’ll find many of the handcrafted products you’ve come to know and love—all made right here on our family farm.

We’ve been quietly working on something behind the scenes that we’ve wanted to add to our product line for quite some time. We finally found a little room in our schedule to start experimenting, learning, and bringing this idea to life!

Today is the very first day we’re introducing our newest products—and they’re so new they haven’t even made it onto our website yet!

✨ Little Lamb Bedtime – a gentle, calming blend crafted to help your little one relax and settle in for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Sneak peek of what’s to come here at Guell Family Funny Farm! 🐐✨
This past weekend we spent hours transforming part of our homeschool room into a dedicated freeze-dryer space… and we are SO excited for this new adventure and addition to our farm business!
What started this journey hearing more and more families talk about the struggle of finding alternative milk options and the desire for shelf-stable goat milk products. As goat owners ourselves, it sparked a passion in us to find ways to make our farm-fresh goat milk more accessible to people beyond our local community.
Freeze drying opens the door to so many possibilities — from shelf-stable goat milk products to some of our family favorites like homemade French Vanilla Goat Milk Coffee Creamer and more! ☕🐐
We are still learning, researching, and preparing for this next chapter, but we couldn’t wait to share a little glimpse of what’s ahead.
God continues to open doors for our little Funny Farm, and we are grateful for every step of the journey. ❤️
