Mix and Match Granola
Granola is a perfect breakfast food, packed with heart-healthy whole grains, nutritious and filling nuts and seeds, and naturally sweet dried fruit. You can eat it with yogurt, milk, or by the handful as a snack. It also happens to be extremely easy to make at home, allowing you to customize the flavors as you see fit.
The basic ratio for granola is six parts dry ingredients (not including fruit) to one part liquid ingredients. Using this basic ratio you can mix and match however you like. We've found the sweet spot, with the perfect amount of oats, nuts, seeds, sweetener, and fruit, but feel free to tweak this recipe. If you like more nuts in your granola, simply decrease the oats and up the nuts. If you can't eat coconut, replace it with more nuts or fruit.
Flavorings like vanilla and almond extract and ground spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom can be added for more flavor. We've included tips and tricks for getting the best granola possible along with some fun flavor ideas, but let your imagination run wild!
The Difference Between Rolled, Steel-Cut, and Instant Oats

3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups raw, unsalted nuts
1/2 cup raw seeds
1/2 cup coconut flakes, sweetened or unsweetened

Spinach and Feta Breakfast Wrap
Spinach, feta cheese, and Kalamata olives belong together! They taste delicious in this healthy, hearty, and wholesome breakfast wrap!
When my husband and I honeymooned in Greece we loved eating eggs with Kalamata olives and feta! The cheesy, salty, tanginess combined with freshly scrambled eggs is so delicious! The spinach adds in some green and packs a healthy punch because it is iron-rich!
This wrap is super easy to whip together on a weekday morning. You can also make a bunch of these on the weekend and then wrap them and freeze them! They can be reheated in the microwave or toaster oven. Simply scramble more eggs and have plenty of tortillas on hand! Egg whites can also be substituted. There is always a debate as to whether whole eggs or egg whites are better for you! I go for the whole eggs to get the nutrients from the yolks, but either way, packs a ton of protein!
Ingredients
2 large eggs
1/2 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped
4 Kalamata olives, chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced
1 white or whole-wheat tortilla
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
