I was unsure about including all my major events in my 2024 recap, as it was a challenging year for me. I encountered a lot of struggles but it came with many blessings!

1️⃣ I MOVED TO A BIGGER OFFICE! 🏢

CONS: It came with blood, sweat, and tears, as well as complications and prolonged situations.

PROS: I had the most amazing people show up for me, and I’m so proud of my space!

KEY TAKEAWAY: I learned that investing in your business is incredibly worth it and rewarding (but hard!).

2️⃣ I ADDED A NEW TEAM MEMBER TO B&W! ➕

CONS: None.

PROS: I feel confident in training others! Crystal is amazing and talented at spray tanning. I love having an additional trusted spray tan artist in the office to help accommodate more clients for B&W!

KEY TAKEAWAY: I learned that I really enjoy training others.

3️⃣ I LAUNCHED A WEBSITE & NEW SERVICES! 💻✨

CONS: I was long overdue for a website.

PROS: I offer more value to my clients! I look more professional and presentable online. I was able to sell all of my new services except for bodybuilding competition spray tans (that’s okay, though; I really haven’t put my time into marketing that yet!).

KEY TAKEAWAY: I learned that people will purchase services or items if you give them value!

4️⃣ I QUIT MY BARTENDING JOB. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

CONS: My faith was tested and I fell into a really dark place. My pride got the best of me.

PROS: I got out of a toxic environment, spent more time with my family, and found a better bartending job!

KEY TAKEAWAY: I learned that it’s okay if I’m not ready to solely survive off my business and have a side gig. I also learned that I need to create other ways to generate income within my business if I want to solely do this. I’ve trusted God throughout this journey, and as time goes on, everything makes more and more sense regarding why things happened the way they did. I will never stop showing up! I love what I do & I am happy with the balance I rediscovered in my life!
