OK SO this was a project I did today... I went to the store and they did not have the color i was hoping so I had to do some reformulating and it came out perfect. We did a more natural look with and painted highlights while covering some of the old ones.. I also lightened her base a shade and made her color softer for her then put a glaze and did a cut to refresh her!

☀️I CANNOT stress how important it is to wear sunscreen 🧴!!
Please listen to some of my tips! - so many people are worried about skin cancer and anti aging. Even with clouds you are getting UV rays. I cannot tell you how many people come in and get skin care analysis and realize how much skin damage they have.

🚩AVOID 🚩
Avoid chemical sunscreens!
-sunscreens that include the ingredient oxybenezone absorb the heat into the skin which can disrupt the hormone system!
-NANOPARTICLES: extremely small molecules, they are often found in mineral sunscreens, little is known about what they can do. These molecules are so small they are easily absorbed and can enter the bloodstream.
-RETINYL PALMITATE OR RETINOL:
If you are going to be in the sun I highly suggest only using retinol before bed. You do not want to be exposed to sun when you have retinol on or really any form of vitamin A because it may speed up the chances of skin cancer and or skin tumors when applied to sun exposed skin.

👍🏻WHAT TO CHOOSE!!! 👍🏻
-NON NANO MINERAL SUNSCREEN: using non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. These ingredients help BLOCK UV rays instead of absorbing them. These ingredients help reflect the sun to stop aging and protect your skin. You also want to stay covered. A typical T-shirt only has a blocking effect equivalent to SPF 15.
Please consider wearing sunscreen it is so important and I cannot stress it enough even in the winter!
