These crocheted dolls made by Cathie Pendleton of The Quilted Hook are fantastic & brought back forgotten memories from my childhood.
The beautiful, reversible dolls tell a story, & not only because they’re based on fairytales or movies, but because of the pure magic, talent, and creativity it took to make them.
We have 4 different dolls in the store - Ariel from the Little Mermaid, Princess and the Frog, Little Red Riding Hood, and Goldilocks & the 3 Bears, 🐻 and we don’t think they will last long.
I had a reversible Little Red Riding Hood doll, and I LOVED her. Underneath her dress was the Big Bad Wolf in the same dress. Someone made it in the 1970s & my Mom bought it for me. I played with that doll for hours, and I had forgotten about her until I saw these.
They are adorable & I guarantee the little one in your life’s imagination will soar new heights with one of these! 🌠

Locals supporting locals - it’s how LoLo & Co’s story unfolded. So we are thrilled to focus this artist spotlight on Mady Adams, our latest 🧑🎨 collaborator.
A soon to be rising senior at Asheboro High School, Mady gets her inspiration from her grandparents.
“My Nana would set out paper, paint and crayons for me while she cooked, then would join me, creating any piece I asked for. Whether it was a big letter M, a flower or tree, watching her skill as a professional artist inspired me to chase the magic of expressing yourself on a blank space and built a trust in the process for me at a young age,” she said.
Mady has an entrepreneurial spirit & runs a small business making special occasion banners, which she hopes to expand.
“Even though I have been busier than ever through my newly found painting business - mainly supported by friends at school - reintroducing art into my life has been life changing. Having this opportunity to showcase my art, I am so thankful for every person who finds value in my art, to every conversation that it has sparked and to all of the people who make it possible for me to paint.”
Mady is looking for new opportunities for murals and bigger pieces, as working with Lolo&Co expanded her view of what she is capable of…

Totes are perfect for travel … so where are you traveling to next?
These fun new totes are the latest ones from the sewing room . The team mixed mediums such as leather & cotton prints with coffee bean bags for this new style.

We do! But we admit our latest coffee bag totes, just in time for your summer travels, are just as lovable! ❤️
These unique & fun totes are made with repurposed coffee bean bags. But we didn’t stop there! We added some remnants of leather to them, sewed together some patchwork prints, and made them even more unique!
Stop by the store in Downtown Asheboro & see which one you like best! And while you’re out, stop by one of the coffee shops or restaurants to enjoy a cup of coffee! ☕️
