★ More about Sage: “i’m born and raised in asheville, i have a love for nature, all kind of fiber arts but especially knitting! i love to spend time with my family/dogs and supporting local businesses. i feel it is my duty behind the chair to support my clients as much as possible in what they want. i want to be a conduit for your vision/self expression! i’m also happy to accommodate any sensory needs via earplugs, fidget toys and silent appointments.“

★ What makes your hair brain sing? “all haircuts i absolutely love cutting styles with a lot of movement and texture. i tend to get in a flow state when doing short hair especially but i love it all!”

★ Go to Davines product? “curl mousse is one of my favorites to use on all different textures as well as nourishing keratin sealer on anyone with color or just needing extra bond support. i’m also a huge fan of the natural tech products as a prescription for different scalp needs!“

★ What do you love about ananda? ”i love being part of a big team, being able to learn from my peers and nerd out on hair science.”

★ Fun fact about me: i will do commission or trade handknits! as well as i want to get more into backpacking and long trail hiking!

✄ Kaitlyn () is a graduate of and a member of our fantastic apprentice team! She is taking both cut and color models at our salon for an amazing rate of $45/hr on Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 7:00pm!

✄ More about Kaitlyn : “I was born and raised in Hot Springs. I love thriller movies and spending time with my family and friends. I’ve always loved taking care of and helping others, which played a big role in my decision to pursue hair. I’m a big yapper and will talk to just about anyone! Being able to build meaningful relationships with my clients truly fills my heart. Another reason I chose to become a hairstylist is the creative freedom it gives me. I love creating beautiful art that my clients get to wear and live with every day.”

✄ Lillian () is a graduate of and a member of our fantastic apprentice team! She is taking both cut and color models at our salon for an amazing rate of $45/hr on Thursdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm!

✄ More about Lillian: “i moved to asheville from michigan and quickly fell in love with the city’s creativity, art, and sense of community. i’ve been doing hair since about 2024; it’s a creative outlet and a way to connect with people in a meaningful, intentional way. i love working with editorial hair and have had the opportunity to work backstage at new york fashion week, which continues to inspire my approach behind the chair. my goal is to create looks that feel expressive, wearable, and aligned with each client’s individuality.
outside of the salon, i come from a family with two brothers and a sister, and i’m deeply inspired by art and the creative energy asheville offers. getting to know my clients is one of my favorite parts of what i do, and i enjoy creating an experience that feels natural, open, and creatively fulfilling for both of us.”

✄ Riley () is a graduate of and a member of our fantastic apprentice team! She is taking both cut and color models at our salon for an amazing rate of $45/hr on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm!

✄ More about Riley: “i was born and raised in asheville and have known i wanted to do hair for as long as i can remember. creating hair is more than a job for me—it’s a lifelong passion and a way to connect with people in a meaningful, personal way. i love getting to know the people in my chair and creating styles that feel authentic, easy to wear, and supportive of your natural texture and hair health. my goal is always for you to feel comfortable, understood, and excited about your hair when you leave. outside of the salon, i’m a proud cat parent to two very loved cats and spend as much time as i can in the mountains and outdoors. i genuinely value creating meaningful, personal connections with each client during their time in my chair.“

a graduate of a renowned austin, texas hair school in 1992, amy has dedicated her life to helping others look and feel their best. beyond the salon, she partners with a recovery center, generously donating her time and talent to give back through her craft.
after spending several years in asheville, amy has returned to embrace the peace and inspiration of the mountains—and to once again be part of the ananda team she calls home.“

★ More about Savannah: “i was born in 2000, and i am a proud cat mom to mushroom and meeko my little sidekicks who mean the world to me. mushroom even lets me dress him up in tiny shirts, which never fails to make my day. i have two sisters who are my built in best friends, and i’m super grateful for them. on weekends, you’ll usually find me out on trails with my boyfriend, we love hiking and camping whenever we get the chance. i’m passionate about all things creative drawing, painting, coloring you name it. i also love cooking for people and am always on the lookout for new recipes to try.“

★ More about Bradley: “i was born in indiana but moved to florida when i was 16 and became a hair stylist when i was 21. i moved to boiling springs, south carolina in 2025 to be closer to my family and friends. i love the mountains, outdoor activities, and lifestyle.“
