I haven’t been giving this page a lot of attention lately, I use Instagram for most of my hair posting. I’m working on getting better.

The truth is I couldnt figure out how to get people to interact with my page more. This social media game is interesting, the more people that comment, like and especially share, the more reach you get. I’s a full time job on top of my full time job, But I will continue to plug away.

If You read this post and feel inclined, comment or give it a thumbs up. I will be posting a holiday special that is good through the month of December, so keep an eye out. 🥰

Do you struggle with fine or thinning hair? Let me know in the comments.
A good haircut can make all the difference but, real talk...you have to use product and a blow dryer. The good haircut is to help achieve a fuller look with less work.
Too often there is a misconception that hair has to be shorter on top to be fuller or that the haircut will be all that's needed but that is not always the case. It can help but a good product, brush and a blow dryer goes a long way to creating a full looking style.
Do you have any questions? I would love to help!🙂

Is anybody out there? 😁 Help wanted, Looking for some ideas.💡

I haven’t posted much on FB for quite a while now. I know that hair photos can get boring so I post tips or ideas about different hair related subjects but it all seems to fall flat.

The reason I haven’t been posting anything lately is due to a lack of interaction. I’m not blaming but I’m not sure what to do anymore. This is my business page and I do beauty however, what I’ve been doing doesn’t seem to get attention or attract new business.

So, I would love some feedback. 💯🤔

Do you brush your hair?

Sometime in the last few decades women have stopped brushing their hair. Women, like Jean Harlow ( pictured here) would get their hair lightened and it was NOT a gentle process for the hair. 😳Harsh chemicals were used to achieve a bright blonde look but their hair still looked glossy and I think one reason is because they brushed their hair every night.

Not only is it a soothing experience but it distributes the oils from your scalp through your hair, it stimulates circulation and helps to remove dirt.

I think we need to revive the practice of brushing hair. A boar bristle brush is the best kind to use. Starting at the scalp, take long strokes down through the ends. You can do it right before you wash your hair or before bed.

Try it for a month, see if it changes anything. At the very least it might just be a relaxing stress reliever. 😍

Are you good at Commitment?
Taking care of your hair after any color service, especially a lightening service takes commitment. Even if your hair looks and feels good the structure of your hair has been altered and needs proper care and upkeep. A rooty look should be touched up 2-3 times a year, regular deep conditioning and quality products used.
As stylists we often recommend shampoo and conditioner preferably sulfate free with a ph between 3.5-4.5 is important. Often we carry products we trust but even if you don’t purchase from the salon it’s important to take care of your investment with quality products.

To make fine hair look fuller you must add some texture and volume.
1- get a good CUT. I added some long LAYERS to this cut. ✂️
2- Use a LIGHTWEIGHT styling product like mousse or styling creme for hold. 🧴
3- BLOWDRY the root area with your head upside down. IMPORTANT: let your hair COOL before flipping your head upright. 🙃
4-Use a LARGE barrel curling iron and curl the sides away from your face.
PRACTICE curling the rest in alternating directions (this adds a bit more volume than going in the same direction).
5- finish with a LIGHTWEIGHT texturizer or hair spray and spray hair at the roots by lifting hair and using small spurts. Add a final mist to hold the curl. 🤩
With fine hair you can take large sections and with practice you could have wavy hair in 10 minutes or less.
Any questions or comments, please write them below and I will get back with you asap. 🤗
