Dear sweet friends ❤️ As many of you may have seen, our sweet salon and basically everything in it was destroyed in the flood. So many lost so much more. Our little mountain communities will never be the same, look the same and we will never be the same but the people of Appalachia are resilient and wonderful humans that come together in times of need. Witnessing the strength of the communities, the kindness offered by neighbors and strangers and the joy seeing loved ones reunited have been the bright spots in these past 12 days.

For anyone that has appointments booked- I will soon begin looking for a temporary work space until is able to be rebuilt and will be leaving everyone’s appointments on my books so I can reschedule everyone in chronological order when I’m able. For anyone who is able and wants to support me and my fellow stylists as we navigate the next few steps, replace our tools and equipment and rebuild our salon, there is a go fund me link in my bio. When I am back to work I will be offering donation based haircuts for those in need. Thank you all so much for your generosity, kindness, love and support through this unimaginable tragedy 🙏🏻❤️ from the bottom of my heart, I cannot wait to hug you all again 🫶🏻

My heart is breaking for my community, for my salon, for everyone who’s been affected the monster of a storm, Helene. The salon was completely flooded, destroying everything, including several of the beautiful plants that have called Balm salon home.
