The Jenkins Method is a whole-person approach to wellness as seen through the lens of movement education and rehabilitative bodywork.
I consider myself a health provider first -- immersed in the wellness space for nearly two decades, I predominately practice through the modalities of bodywork and natural movement. The lens at which I view the body; facilitating its innate ability to heal and overcome challenges, offers clients a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to each person’s unique circumstance. Hello Friends!
I am excited to spend time with you tomorrow!
Not only will I be speaking on some of my favorite topics, we will also be moving our bodies in wonderfully therapeutic ways.
Here’s what you need to know:
WHAT TO WEAR - wear clothing that you can comfortably move in. We will be doing both standing and floor work. With the changing temperatures, you may want to bring socks and a sweatshirt as well.
⚠️ Wear or bring sandals/slip on shoes. We will be barefoot on the mats and shoes are required to be worn when off the mats.

Join me and 10th Planet Portland for a two hour seminar where I will share important (and hopefully interesting!) perspectives about pain, injury, and healing that I have collected over my 16 year career as a rehabilitative bodyworker.
I will guide you through a self-treatment protocol for your neck and shoulders; teaching you pain-relieving techniques that will empower you to care for yourself more fully.
This event is hosted by my amazing friends at 10th Planet jiu jitsu here in Portland. More information about the event and the venue will follow this post.

It’s been nearly two YEARS since my last post. What a powerful time it has been! I closed my Montavilla location in Sept 2020, loaded a uhaul and headed south for the winter. I spent 7 months roaming my favorite desert trails in Southern Nevada and immersing myself in contemplation. It was a short, but deeply impactful chapter that brought about big shifts in my small universe.
•
I have returned to Portland with a clearer vision of how I want to evolve in my work and continue to grow in the community.
•
The new studio space is located at the corner of NE Russell St. and Martin Luther King Blvd. Check out my site for more info

My current offerings include the thoughtful bodywork you know and trust as well as energy work in the form of Reiki and Shiatsu.
•
I hope you will follow me closely as I am working on new skill sets that will greatly benefit all of you and connect us even further. More information will follow as that aspect develops.
•
I look forward to seeing current clients and meeting new ones. I wish you healing and abundance.
Cheers friends!

Working with is such a privilege. This is our third fight camp together and I think she’d agree, it’s the best one yet!

Over the last two years we have developed our own language. I can read, assess and anticipate much of what she needs without much talking. Her ability to tell me exactly what she needs, deliver feedback and guidance through our sessions is equally seamless.
•
Facilitating this incredible athlete through her camps requires me to be present and forward thinking. Her level of training is as intense as it gets. They are dynamic and unpredictable. Every bodywork session with her is different. From post-training recovery, acute injury treatment and prevention to performance optimization and event preparation, this work inspires me to show up for her as she shows up in her training.
•
It is with great pleasure and humble gratitude that I wish this Warrior off to do what she has been preparing to do. This weekend she hits enters the cage at the Phoenix Series 2 in Kansas City.
•
I am deeply invested in the athletes that I work with. This woman is so special to me and my work. Check her out on to show support or simply put out those Champion vibes! I’m with 🖤⚔️🐲🖤

If you know me, you know I am OBSESSED with the Nervous System and all its amazing nuances. I work with high level competitors and incredibly hard working, driven humans on a daily basis. We are all wanting to be better versions of ourselves and doing it in our own ways.
I am sharing this interview because it pertains to us all. You don’t have to be a high level athlete to benefit from its messages. Please indulge me for there is much value in this 56 minute video.

I have been privileged enough to work with this man throughout his training camp. His commitment and discipline to this sport is beyond impressive. Watching and playing a role in his growth as an athlete brings me great fulfillment and joy. He is my client, training partner and friend. So excited to see Steven Chang find his flow state and kick some effing ass this weekend!
