Mio gioioso cartografo!
Here stands my favorite blonde and daughter Faye, last summer in Italy, celebrating her graduation from Southern Oregon University.
This map is from the Gallery of Maps in the Vatican Museums, crafted by the talented Ignazio Danti between 1580 and 1583. He gathered information through historical records, field surveys, and collaboration with local experts. Remarkably, these maps are about 80% accurate!
But I digress. We are talking about blondes!
