The Inspo: European Style Powder Brows✨
She reached out to me with previous work (done by another artist) with the goal to make them fuller, bolder and more defined. In most cases, pigment removal is necessary and preferred, but *sometimes* depending on the goal and granted the saturation & shape is workable, we can work over the old work.

***If you have previous work done by a different artist, pre-assessment/consultation is necessary prior to booking.

Microblding was the first permanent makeup technique I learned and it will forever be my first crush. It’s a technique that involves a handheld blade to create beautiful, realistic, hair-like strokes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for everyone; microblading heals best on normal to dry skin types. Does this mean Powder Brows is your only option? Not necessarily!
If you are curious about hairstrokes or unsure if you’re a good candidate, send me a DM! I would love to go through your options with you❣️

A common question I get is how long Brow Booster/Touch-up sessions take in comparison to the initial session. The length of your Brow Booster session will depend on...
- 𝙋𝙄𝙂𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙍𝙀𝙏𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉: The better you heal, the less we will need to touch up in your followup session. For example, with microblading, we will only go over/redo strokes that are super light/non-existent and leave alone any strokes that healed well.
- 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀 𝙎𝙄𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙏 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙊𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏: Depending on how soon you return for your touch-up session, the length of the appointment can change. For example, clients who return after 3 years will most likely need more touching up compared to someone who's returning after 6 months.
But please remember! Every client will heal differently and have their own unique permanent makeup experience (due to varying skin types, lifestyles, etc.), but everyone should follow the provided aftercare to ensure best healed results (that are also long lasting).

Every time a client sees their new brows, they immediately want to know what they need to do to ensure that they heal well...and how to make them to last!
Remember, brows heal and age differently for everyone- depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare regimen, health/environmental factors, etc. But there are things that we can do to make the brow investments worth our while. Here are my 5 biggest tips❣️

In initial sessions, we ALWAYS opt to work conservatively. This applies to color, shape and saturation. We want to see how the brows heal up and check the retention for each client; everyone heals differently as healed results can be affected by skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, etc.
We can always make the brows darker and bolder in the touch-up, but it’s much more difficult to work backwards (make them lighter/thinner). So, the answer to the question is: by working conservatively initially, we are ensuring there’s room to build in the touch-up session, *if needed*. The saying, “better safe than sorry”, applies to brows too!

Can fluffy brows be built with pixels only? ABSOLUTELY YES.
This is my good and strongest friend Ursula 🫶 We first met a few years ago through weightlifting! Although I fell out of the sport, we kept in touch and now, here we are…I got to create beautiful brows that are waterproof and sweat-resistant💦❤️💪
Why did we choose Powder Brows?
1. Active lifestyle.
2. Sensitive skin type.

I get asked this question so much, but there’s no simple yes/no answer because pain tolerance/threshold is personal. I’ve had some clients that were super sensitive, some that felt little to no pain and some that have either said it was ticklish or have even fallen asleep! Regardless of where you stand on the pain scale, my job is to make sure you are comfortable from start to finish. How do we achieve this?
Answer: 𝙏𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨! Applying a numbing agent on the procedure area will take the edge off and make the procedure much more bearable. Most of my clients report little to no pain, but again, each client has a different pain threshold.
I do want to say though, it's not realistic to expect absolutely no pain/discomfort at all. All forms of permanent makeup involve cutting the skin (via microblading tool or machine pen) and depositing pigment. Having said that, some pain/stinging/pressure/discomfort/irritation should be expected.
