21 years ago I was pregnant with a baby boy and dreaming of opening my own salon.
A place where people could change the face of our industry, be treated and act like professionals and have time for their families.
A sanctuary where all walks of life are loved and accepted.
I wanted girls fresh out of beauty school to have place that could and has given them a firm foundation with mentorship to build confidence
I did that.
A calm for people’s storms. My reputation build a lot of books for hairdressers, nail techs and estis
We shared tears in the valley and celebrated the mountain tops.
We laughed a lot.
I learned a lot.

As many of you know my health hasn’t been great over the last couple years. It’s been insanely hard for my body. I can no longer manage chaos or stress and my nervous system is on overload. I get overwhelmed where previously chaos and high stress was where I thrived.

So the page is turning.
Moira is picking up the reigns and is taking over the salon.
Nothing will change for the team or the culture of the salon. Her vision is much the same as mine. Most of the team is staying.
She’s fun and dynamic and has loads of fresh ideas. It’s going to be incredible!

I am moving onto a very small salon in the Red Building St 107, but you’ll still see me in the salon as these girls are some of my favorite girls ever!
The ONLY reason I’m not staying on is my natural tendency is to be in charge and that isn’t serving me or anyone else well right now.

I can’t thank everyone enough for coming on this wild dream of mine, fanning my flames and catching my tears. You’ve been the best part of this dream.
