Hygge (pronounced HEU-gah) is a Danish word that describes a feeling or mood that comes from taking genuine pleasure in making ordinary, every day things more meaningful, beautiful or special. While there’s not a direct English translation for hygge, many words can be used to discribe the concept; cosiness, charm, happiness, security, familiarity, comfort, reassurance, kinship, and living simply. Essentially, hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. that makes my clientele feel relaxed and well attended to while recieving a unique hairstyle. Hygge is a way of giving something ordinary a special context and taking time to make it extraordinary!
