Take it from the girl who had a stroke and came back fighting 💪

We have said "Don't back me in to a corner or I'll come out swinging" We use this as a badge of honor or a defense incase we get hurt

People described me as a child as "stubborn". (if they pushed to hard or hurt me too deeply I would dig in my heals) Maybe you were a child like this

Once I had the stroke all of the sudden my stubbornness was a good thing. Something God graced me with and were I agree I can't help but remember the wounds left over the years from being negativly told "I was stubborn"

Maybe, you were told something hurtful or verbally abused for being a sertain way and maybe your like me and punished yourself through relationships with narcissist or abusive partners because you didn't see how fearfully, wonderfully, & beautifully you were created.

You are worth so much more than you have thought & it's not anyone else's job to treat you that way. It's ours!

My stubbornness was a tool God knew I needed & He knew that this business was going to bring me growth and those 2 things got me to were I am today.

Living life, owning my own time, teaching my kids, being a Boss and CEO of my life ❤️ if I haven't told you lately. Be who you are! You are fearfully & wonderfully created.

😭 Wow .... look what happened in 3.5 years

Starting a business, coming home full time, Homeschooling, pursuing my dreams, gardening, having a stroke, relearning everything, un-learning people pleasing, learning what I love, Cheering Brandon on as he starts a business, Showing other how to save Time & Money.

If I knew this would all come in 3.5 years from a business I started so I could buy Formula & Ground Beef in the same week I would have started sooner.

Easy Taco Seasoning Mix at home 🏡

It's super easy you probably have the nessesary ingredients
1 tsp Chili Powder (add a tsp if you don't use paprika)
1 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
1 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder (or 2 cloves fresh Garlic)
1 1/4 tsp Onion Powder (or 1/2 a fresh onion)
1 tsp Oregano Leaves (Italian season will work)
1 1/2 tsp Salt
5 tsp Paprika (optional)
1 pound meat

> You feel yourself smaller than before
> You fit places you didn't used to
> The before & afters show progress

Then you step on the scales to see your progress and you gained weight.

Questioning your own feelings and thoughts you stop making progress and don't believe yourself.

Consider this:
If you are excersizing, you are gaining muscle 💪 & muscle weighs more than fat. Why are you depending on a scale to show progress? 🤷‍♀️ it's like comparing apples & oranges

If fat weighs 80% of muscle, then the numbers aren't the same.

In reality, the scale only tells you numbers, but numbers only help if you're trying to lose weight, not if you gain muscle

That's why goals don't matter - processes do.

Healthy Pumpkin Bread:

1 cup Pumpkin or homemade pumpkin puree, canned
1 Flax egg
1/4 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
1/4 cup Maple syrup
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tbsp Coconut sugar
1 1/2 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp Sea salt
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 2/3 cups Whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 cup Coconut oil

Instructions:
•Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare 1 regular sized loaf pan (8.5 inch) by spraying it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
•Whisk together ground flaxseed with water in a small bowl with a fork and let it sit for a few minutes until an gel like consistency forms.
•In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and salt).
•Combine the wet ingredients (pumpkin, maple syrup, vanilla, oil, applesauce and flax egg) in a medium-sized mixing bowl and blend well.
•Add the liquid mixture to the dry and stir well until just combined.
•In a small bowl mix coconut sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
•Pour batter into the loaf pan and top with coconut sugar cinnamon topping and place on the center rack of oven. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
•Allow to cool before removing from pan.
•Bread should keep at room temperature for at least 3 days. For longer storage, keep in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for 1-2 months.
