The Standard will be closing at 7 pm today per Governor DeWine's order, and will remain closed until otherwise notified. I will contact people who have appointments scheduled.

The salon will be closed February 12 - 22 so that I may attend a hair training (and have a vacation 😊). I will be open until 7 pm on 2/7 and 2/8, and until 6 pm on 2/9. Thank you!

The Standard will be closing early this evening so that we can attend the Friends of Athens CASA at Eclipse!

This , we’d like to congratulate The Standard Salon Athens Ohio for taking the Zero Waste Pledge! They have chosen to begin collecting compost at their business, including paper towels and untreated hair, and all employees will be trained on proper recycling and composting practices. The Standard Salon is truly setting the standard for sustainable salons!

Congratulations to Sara Schumm on her new business, Body Shop & Spa! We will miss her very much, and appreciate the time she was here. Please check out her new business, located at 16 W. State St.
