Thank you for everything you did this weekend (and the past couple months during wedding planning) — for being calm, steady, supportive, patient, and loving — not just for me, but for my sister & family too.

You quietly did so much so I could fully be present, and I appreciate you more than I can put into words. Thank you for always running to get whatever we needed, for helping set up, clean, and pack up, for being there with a hug when I felt overwhelmed — all the way to the very end of the night by turning my heating pad on to get it heated up for my sore back.

My sister got married yesterday 🤍👰🏽‍♀️

In the rush of getting ready and setting up the day she’d dreamed of, these very few photos are all I managed to take before everyone got there.

A quiet glimpse from her bridal suite before the whirlwind began — before the nerves, the laughter, the happy tears, curling irons hectically being slung around, hairspray & perfume filled the rooms, and the sounds of us all constantly asking each other “did you eat??” to make sure no one was passing out that day!

It was such a beautiful day (from the few parts I feel like I vaguely remember), and I can’t wait to see the professional photos to relive all the moments we moved through too quickly and definitely the ones we didn’t realize we missed.

I am definitely not the girl who takes her Christmas down right away! I’m still over here enjoying my nutcracker wreath sashes my bestie (.d.lamar) made.
