Today we’re talking about one of my very own personal struggles… dry, dehydrated skin.

My skin has always been dry and easily dehydrated. Before I knew much about skincare, I thought dry skin was too “fragile” to exfoliate. I worried exfoliating would make it more sensitive and uncomfortable, so I avoided it completely.

But I was left with constant tightness, itchiness, and discomfort—and eventually, the worst combination: adult acne AND dehydrated skin.

That was my turning point.

I started learning everything I could about ingredients, skin function, and barrier health. I enrolled in esthetics school because I was fed up and determined to understand my skin on a deeper level.

And I’ve learned SO much since then.

My skin has never looked better, but most importantly it has never FELT better.

One of the biggest things I had wrong? Exfoliation.
