I’m Susan Silva, Founder & CEO of Goddesses & Gods Cosmetics, born and raised in The Bronx, New York City. My path began in medical science, earning an Associate in Science and certification as a Medical Technologist. I worked for several years at Winthrop Hospital in Long Island as a floater, rotating through multiple high-end departments. That experience taught me precision, adaptability, and the importance of care in every detail—values I carried into my work as a skincare formulator. While caring for hospice patients in the Bronx—many living with cancer or HIV—I began creating skincare solutions to restore comfort and dignity. Through years of self-study, research, and collaboration with other experts, I developed advanced formulation skills focused on ingredient chemistry, stability, and performance. At Goddesses & Gods Cosmetics, I merge the worlds of clinical science and natural ingredients to craft skincare that honors both body and spirit. My mission now expands beyond beauty: I’m working to make my brand more inclusive by introducing braille labels across product packaging and partnering with organizations that support the visually impaired. For me, beauty is not just what you see it’s what you feel. Everyone deserves access to that experience
