Today 3 years ago i decided to LEAP . I packed up my car & drove me & my daughter across the country to begin a new life . No family no friends . Just me & her against the world.

I knew God was the reason for the whole move & how it happened . Through the excitement I didn’t realize fear had creeped in so quietly. I was terrified but didn’t process it in the best ways. So I grabbed for any & everything that felt comfortable to block it out . In the midst of me trying to soothe myself I rushed ahead of God & got into a relationship. Towards the end of that relationship I found myself the lowest I had ever been in my life. Financially, spiritually, emotionally & mentally. I didn’t recognize myself.

God is such a God of PROCESS. After a year of hell (due to my own impatience, fear & unbelief) I thought I would lose my mind. Su***de ideation, binge drinking, feeling the loneliest I’ve ever felt …here I am 2 years later…stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. Walking in purpose..walking into destiny. I had to allow God to PROCESS me. To heal me. To restore me. To show me who He truly was. To be able to drown out the noise & listen to Him ALONE. Not my family, not my friends not even my own voice.

In a lot of ways I needed to be broken . ive been stubborn my whole life . & honestly i think He was tired of me🥴🤣🤦🏿‍♀️ how else would i have listened to Him? He had to allow me to break . But He won’t let you stay broken. He used my brokenness to create things within me only HE could do. To make me into the woman HE created me to be. Not the woman i created myself.

I’ve grown so much & I’ve been stretched in ways I didn’t think possible here in Atlanta . I’m not the woman that came here with her baby & a dream. He gave me PURPOSE. God is crazy & amazing & big & patient. Understanding & loving but stern & HE DONT PLAY😭😅🤣🥹 to truly know Him & commune with Him is the most beautiful thing you’ll ever experience in this life.
